The launch of CEIDR coincides with several developments or even a series of transformations and changes. This initiative closely aligns with MUBS’ strategy and reinforces the university’s commitment to the vision and mission it has been dedicated to for a quarter of a century.

The launch of CEIDR, in conjunction with positive occurrences in Lebanon and the region in the aftermath of unprecedented suffering, aims to shape the future through:

1- Building a renewed momentum towards change and development that relies on objectively analyzing challenges and potential solutions.

2- Translating the university’s aspirations into creative visions and directions that reflect its commitment to excellence in development and revitalization, strengthen its national and humanitarian identity, and reinforce its ethical and scientific values.

3- Managing the challenges of education and scientific research through a clear philosophy and advanced programs in which the university’s constituents, including senates, academic, administrative, and student bodies, are involved.

4- Creating an ampler space for networking with dozens of researchers and specialists inside and outside Lebanon. Here, we must thank our fellow researchers with whom we will start the journey of establishing and expanding CEIDR.

5- Prioritizing the motivation of young researchers in the development strategy ensures that the Institute is committed to creating opportunities for technical and financial support. We look forward to the support of organizations and institutions in this foundational effort.

6- Building partnerships and cooperation with universities, institutes, centers, publishing houses, and researchers that constitute the cornerstone of this project, leading the way to a promising future and establishing creative dynamics conducive to meeting the goals of education and shaping our envisioned future in higher education.
